Minori : Christmas shapes and colors
Minori students had their second class on the topic "What do you like?".
After the usual greeting game the class started with `Teacher Talk`.
"I like Christmas but I don't like snow. I don't like cold weather."
"In Australia, Christmas is hot!"
"Really?"
"Let's watch the video!"
"There is a Christmas tree on the beach!"
Next, we practiced how to say shapes and colors in English.
"Red!"
After that we played the pointing game. We did two versions. First, we played using colors and next we used shapes.
Everyone had to listen to Ms. Emily and point to the shape she said. They had to say the name of the shape while pointing.
Lastly, we played the `Touch something blue` game. Everyone had to find something in the room with the color that Ms. Emily said.
"Touch something red!"
The teachers hid some shapes around the room, too. Everyone had to find the shape that Ms. Emily said.
Everyone enjoyed the class! It was fun!
