6th Grade: Alphabet Message Game
6th grade students have been studying both upper case (big) and lower case (small) letters. This week we played an alphabet message game.
First we all sang and danced the alphabet song.
Dancing makes it more interesting to sing!
Then, the students watched a demonstration.
The teachers showed on student some big letters (TV).
Next the student had to trace those letters on their friends back in order to pass the message.
You have to picture the letter in your head.
The last person in the line has to pick out the letters from a table.
Oh no! All these letters are lower case letters! This makes it more challenging!!
