Touch and feel Jomon Culture
The Sendai City Jomon Site Park is a facility that conserves and makes use of Yamada-Uenodai site, which was a large village in the Jomon Period approximately 4,000 years ago. While viewing this restored village, visitors can relive the Jomon Period through various workshops.

Opening hours: 9.00 a.m. to 4.45 p.m.
※ Admission until 4.15 p.m. Workshop reception hours: 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.; 12:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Closed: Mondays (open on national holiday Mondays and Close on the following days), The day following national holiday (except Saturday and national holiday), Every fourth Thursday of the month (except national holidays and December), December 28 - January 4
Admission Fees: Adults - ¥ 200; high school Pupils - ¥ 150; elementary and Junior high school Pupils - ¥ 100

Access: 30 minutes by bus from stop No.7 or 8 (outside Sendai Station West exit).
Get off at the ‘Yamada Taihaku Shobosho-mae’ bus stop, then walk for 5 minutes.
