Enjoy viewing the Paleolithic Age
Sendai City Tomizawa Site Museum is a themed museum centered on the Paleolithic Age.
Remains of a forest and human activity from 20,000 years ago, excavated at the Tomizawa ruins, have been preserved and are open to the public.The discovered artifacts on display vividly bring back to life the environment and human activity of that time.

Opening hours 9.00 a.m. to 4.45 p.m.

Every fourth Thursday of the month (except holidays and December)

High school Pupils - ¥ 230
Elementary and Junior High school Pupils - ¥ 110
Access Walk approximately 5 minutes in a westward direction from Nagamachi-minami station on the Namboku subway line (leave station from West 1 or West 2 exit).
